as you might have already understood, i´ve just seen the new film about Gabrielle “coco” Chanel, “Coco avant Chanel”. in english “Coco before Chanel”. i loved it. there were so much, so many details i absolutely adored in that film, that words do not own up to it. perhaps what i loved the most was that it didn´t have this American reek. it didn´t scream HOLLYWOOD, and thank god for that.

audrey tautou did an exceptional interpretation of the woman, coco chanel. but then again, audrey tautou is an exceptional actress. amélie is on of my favourite films in the world, she plays the lead in that movie also. the director, anne fontain, can give her self a pat on the back and tell herself “bravo”. the film is completely irresistable to watch. the actors are skilled, and nothing seemed plastic, nothing was too retouched. je´taime.
